Author Talk: Nick Petrie

The Rhinelander District Library and Nicolet College are pleased to welcome Milwaukee-area author Nick Petrie to promote his ninth novel in the pulse-pounding Peter Ash series, The Dark Time. Ash rides to the aid of an investigative reporter who may have stumbled on a story more explosive than even he can handle in this propulsive new entry in Petrie's award-winning series. Per the New York Times Book Review: "Petrie has a talent for ratcheting up the suspense." Petrie is the author of the Peter Ash series, which includes titles such as The Price You Pay, The Runaway, and The Breaker. His debut, The Drifter, won the ITW Thriller award and the Barry Award for Best First Novel, and was a finalist for the Edgar and the Hammett Awards.

This event is free and open to the public and will take place at the Nicolet College Theatre as part of their Nicolet Live! series. No tickets are required, and general admission seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Theatre doors will open at 5:00 p.m., and refreshments will be available for purchase. Copies of The Drifter (book 1 in the Peter Ash series) and The Dark Time will be available for purchase from local business Briar House before and after the program (cash or card accepted). This program is presented in partnership with Nicolet College Arts & Enrichment, the Friends of the Rhinelander District Library, and Briar House.
