All About Northwoods Land Trusts! Please join RDL in welcoming John Heusinkveld, Conservation Outreach Specialist for the Northwoods Land Trust, on Thursday, July 16th, 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the library meeting room. Learn about the issue of land preservation and lakeshore protections, and the innovative services a land trust can offer to help safeguard them. The Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) is a 501(c)(3) established in 2001. Their mission is to permanently conserve natural shorelands, woodlands, and other natural resources to benefit present and future generations in Vilas, Oneida, Forest, Florence, Iron, Price, and Langlade counties in northern Wisconsin.
