Author Talk Series

RDL's Author Talk series continues with local crime fiction author Tom Burg! Thomas E. Burg grew up in Ohio and pursued a career as a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (1967-1999), retiring as Senior Resident Agent in Wausau, WI. In retirement, he pursued his interest in railroad history and authored numerous books in this field. When he realized that his career of experience provided a wealth of real crime plots and vignettes that could be presented in a fictionalized manner, he began writing crime stories. Since 2022, he has written five such novels, dubbed by Amazon as the Accidental Sheriff Series. Books will be available for purchase after the program, cash and checks accepted.
