Event Description:
The Rhinelander District Library is pleased to welcome scientist and poet Horia Ion Groza for an author talk. Groza has a PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics; he has specialized in potato growth over the course of his career, both in his native country of Romania and the U.S. Groza spent nine years in Rhinelander, and his time in the Northwoods inspired his collection of poetry, The Sign of the North. Groza will give an author talk, including readings from his book, and will be available after the program for questions and book signings.
