Event Description:
The School District of Rhinelander’s Community Education Program is proud to host the 3rd annual Camp George, a one-day grief support camp designed for children across the Northwoods who have experienced loss.
Open to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, Camp George offers a safe, compassionate space to process grief related to the loss of a loved one, pet, or family changes such as divorce. Children will engage in healing activities such as crafting personalized t-shirts, breaking flower pots (a symbolic and therapeutic exercise), and exploring nature-based healing techniques—plus much more.
Facilitator: Lexi Allen, RHS School Counselor
Who Can Attend: All students in grades K-8th (not limited to Rhinelander residents)
