Field Day

Scientists and students from a wide variety of schools and agencies call UW-Madison's Kemp Natural Resources Station home while they work on research projects on area forests and lakes. The public is invited to learn more about these studies during Kemp Station's Field Day. Come learn about the secret lives of wildlife, how waterfowl is impacting wild rice, why we collect insects, and what freshwater mussels are up to - and that's just some of what's in store. Visitors may take self-guided tours of the historic buildings and the nature trail.
