Name: Granny Square Quilt Community Craft: How To
Date: October 7, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM CDT
Event Description:
Help keep the community warm! The Rhinelander District Library is proud to present the Granny Square Quilt Community Craft throughout the month of October. Community members are invited to crochet, knit, or weave a 4"x4" or 6"x6" granny square, which will then be joined into blankets and donated to organizations in need. A variety of hooks, needles, looms, books, patterns, and yarn will be available at the library all month long. Not sure how to start? The library will hold two Community Craft: Learn How To events on 10/7 & 10/15. Interested teens and adults can drop in to learner classes at any time; all supplies are provided and no registration is required. All events will be held in the library meeting room. A community quilt assembly event will be held on November 7th—more details to come.
