Matt Blessing, Retired State Archivist & Division Administrator at WI Historical Society will present a program on Matanuska Valley relocation project, including families from the Rhinelander area. In 1935, over 200 farm families from the northern regions of WI, MI & MN took advantage of a Homestead program relocating them to the Matanuska Valley in Alaska.
Water, Root Beer and Soda will be available for purchase, along with Locally Crafted Brews. Come join us for a relaxing and informative evening. FREE ADMISSION
