Event Description:
Join "The Northwoods Explorers of Space and Astronomy" in the expanse of the Nicolet College Field. With good weather, we will set up telescopes and binoculars to view Saturn, the Andromeda Galaxy, M13 -  the huge globular cluster in Hercules, M57 - the Ring Nebula in Lyra, and a few double stars. It's very enjoyable looking at objects in the Milky Way and beyond through a good telescope with a group of experienced star gazers and enthusiasts. For casual observing, we will use lasers that seem to reach the stars to help guide the way. All are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.
