Event Description:
Praised for his strong rapport and superb cantabile, Mexican pianist Juan Pablo Horcasitas is one of the most versatile musicians of his generation. Since his solo debut at Carnegie Hall in NYC in 2009, Mr. Horcasitas has been actively performing and collaborating with many artists around the world, performing in the main concert halls in Mexico as well as recitals in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Currently, Juan is serving as the Piano Department Chair at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Join us as Juan performs his concert titled, “Songs and Dances from Around the World” which includes works by Mompou, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Zyman, Piazzolla, Ponce, Ellington, and Gershwin.
