The YMCA of the Northwoods, Rhinelander, is holding its monthly Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, January 3 at noon at the Y. This month’s topic is “What is Curling and How Do You Play?” Jean Rice, a member of the Rhinelander Curling Club, will be in attendance to talk about how curling is played and how you can get involved. “You probably have seen the sport of curling in the Olympic games”, says Marilyn Duschl, Active Older Adult Coordinator. “Rhinelander now has a curling club that promotes and teaches the sport”. Join the group for a potluck lunch or bring your own bag lunch to the presentation. Beverages will be provided by the Y. The monthly Lunch and Learn is open to anyone in the community.
