Roots Concert: Kevin Troestler

ArtStart is proud to announce the kickoff of its 2026 Roots Concert Series with a live performance by Wisconsin-raised Blues/Country artist Kevin Troestler on Thursday, January 22 at 6:30 PM. The concert will take place at ArtStart, 68 S. Stevens Street, Rhinelander, WI. The Roots Concert Series, made possible with support from WXPR 91.7FM, celebrates regional artists. Opening the 2026 series, Kevin Troestler brings a powerful blend of blues, country, and soul that reflects both his Wisconsin upbringing and his deep musical influences. Raised in Sauk City, Wisconsin, Troestler discovered his love for music at an early age, beginning his journey on drums at just four years old. While he picked up the guitar in his late teens, it wasn’t until around age 19 that he fully immersed himself in mastering the instrument. Influenced by legendary artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Allman Brothers Band, and other great blues musicians, Troestler developed a sound rooted in authenticity, grit, and heartfelt storytelling. There is a suggested $10 donation at the door and a cash bar will be open with alcoholic and nonalcoholic options.
