Event Description:
The Northwoods Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance will be conducting their annual Spring Wildflower Hike. The hike will follow the New Wood segment of the Ice Age Trail as it traverses close to the New Wood River and some very picturesque large old white pines. The trail is of fairly level terrain.
Bring a lunch to eat on the trail at a bluff overlooking the New Wood River.
Location:
Meet at the New Wood Ice Age Trail segment trailhead on Hwy E. Take Hwy 64 west of Merrill to Hwy E and follow the Ice Age Trail event signs

from the north take J west at Irma and then 107 south to Hwy E. Follow the Ice Age Trail signs.
