Event Description:
Head outside with us to discover the fascinating nighttime (and daytime!) world of fireflies, and learn how you can get involved in ongoing efforts to better understand their disappearance! Fireflies depend on damp habitats for survival, so we will investigate the area around Dragonfly Pond for fireflies to observe as we discuss what makes them special. Whether we spot them or not, you will have a chance to explore citizen science projects and firefly conservation efforts.
