DESCRIPTION:RDL's Author Talk series returns with local history author Mark Miazga on Tuesday\, June 2nd\, 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Rhinelander library meeting room. Mark Miazga\, author of three volumes of Tales of the Northwoods: Echoes from Rhinelander's Past\, The Hunt for the Hodag in History\, and additional publications within public health and survey research\, was raised in Rhinelander and is a 1987 graduate of Rhinelander High School. He earned a BA in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire in 1991 and a Juris Doctorate degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul\, Minnesota in 1996. He is currently the Director of the University of Minnesota Survey and Assessment Services office in Minneapolis. He lives in Falcon Heights\, Minnesota with his wife Linda and son Henry. Books will be available for purchase after the program\, cash and checks accepted. Program made possible with funds from the Richard and Marjorie Peters Memorial Grant.
