Seasonal Pro Shop Attendant

Rhinelander Country Club is seeking a seasonal position Pro Shop Attendant to our Golf Pro. The position typically works April through late October. This is part time or seasonal position; schedule and hours may vary.

ProShop attendants are responsible for the sale of greens fees, pro shop merchandise, registering players, assisting the pro as needed and answering incoming calls.

Essential Job Functions

• Answer incoming calls, assist members and non-members with requests

• Assist in ensuring golf operations flow smoothly

• Work with cash and Point of Sale systems (ForeUP)

• Remain courteous with customers at all times

• Work as a team player with other co-workers, including teenage staff

• Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop

• Fold and organizing items in the golf shop

• Keep pro shop and outside areas clean

• Restocking golf ball displays

• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

o Ability to compile, coordinate, classify, tabulate and record data.

o Ability to communicate effectively; includes ability to speak and write clearly and to interact with members of the and customers to exchange information and resolve problems.

o Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and to calculate decimals and percentages.

o Ability to accurately count and handle cash.

o Ability to operate a personal computer or tablet, utilizing basic software applications as may be necessary to perform essential job functions.

o Ability to exert light physical effort, which may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials weighing, up to 50 pounds.

o Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
