Camp George: A Day of Healing for Children Coping with Loss
The School District of Rhinelander is proud to once again host Camp George, a one-day grief support camp designed for children across the Northwoods who have experienced loss.
Open to youth ages 6-14, Camp George offers a safe, compassionate space to process grief related to the loss of a loved one, pet, or family changes such as divorce. Children will engage in healing activities such as crafting personalized t-shirts, breaking flower pots (a symbolic and therapeutic exercise), and exploring nature-based healing techniques—plus much more.
