Celebrate Culture at the Community Fiesta - October 5 at Nacho's Mexican Grill

As part of the Rhinelander community’s Culture Tap Program, all are warmly invited to a Community Fiesta at Nacho’s Mexican Grill in Rhinelander on Monday, October 5, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Dine in and enjoy a festive evening featuring traditional Mexican folk dance performances and a lively game of Lotería (a traditional Mexican game similar to bingo), hosted by visiting artists from the Mexican Folk Art Collective. It’s a vibrant celebration of culture, food, and community — and everyone is welcome! Note that there are no food or beverage discounts associated with this event, but the entertainment is free of charge.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that Mexican folk artists have visited Rhinelander as part of their partnership with the Culture Tap Program. The broader Culture Tap initiative has been bringing diverse cultural experiences to the Northwoods for many years through the collaboration of the School District of Rhinelander Community Education Program, the Mexican Folk Art Collective, Nicolet College, ArtStart, and the Rhinelander Community Foundation.

An additional press release will be shared soon with details about the full Culture Tap schedule, including in-school activities with students taking place on October 5 and 6.
