YMCA’s Hodag Run For Your Life - Go the Extra Mile PLUS the Kids Chase the Hodag!
On Saturday, June 24th, the YMCA of the Northwoods and Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce are excited to host the 16th Annual Hodag Run For Your Life featuring a 10K, 5K, 5K Stroller, and the Free Kids Chase the Hodag. This fun family event will be the highlight of your summer. Gather your family and friends! The proceeds from this event support the Y’s Annual Support Campaign, providing memberships and program sponsorships for youth, adults, and families.
All races start at Hodag Park’s beach house. Our 10K (sponsored by Habush, Habush, & Rottier SC), 5K, and 5K Stroller races will have morning wave times, starting at 8:00AM. Register by June 11 th to be assured of a custom designed Hodag Run t-shirt. The Kids Chase the Hodag, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander, starts at 10:30AM. This youth race is for ages 12 and under and the first 200 registered for the Chase receive a free t-shirt. Your child or grandchild will have fun trying to beat the Hodag to the finish line. Come for the fun carnival games too!
Registration for the 5K and 10K races is $35. Day of race registration for the Kids Chase the Hodag is free.
