Upcoming at the Warehouse
[EAGLE RIVER, WI] - The Warehouse Community Arts Center in Eagle River brings arts enrichment and education to the Northwoods through a variety of classes, free community groups, and public art events, for all ages, locals and visitors alike.
The art center offers a variety of classes in the arts, including oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting classes, stained glass, needle and wet felting, yoga, plus a full ceramics studio, with single day and multiple weeks classes available in both handbuilding and wheel throwing.
Four free community groups meet at the Warehouse and the public is invited to join. Watercolor Group meets every Tuesday from 10:30am-noon to paint a new theme each week. The second Wednesday of the month, November 11, Photo Club will meet from 6-8pm. The Scarf Project, a free fiber group, will meet Sunday November 12 from 2:30-4pm. And almost every Friday afternoon, the Northwoods Ukers meet from 1:30-3pm to play and sing. Beginners are welcomed.
The Warehouse is putting out a call for vendors for their Christmas Market happening Saturday December 5. Artists, crafters, and handmade makers of artisanal items should contact the Warehouse to apply.
